Day 1Cusco - Capuliyoc - Marampata

We will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco in our private transport and take you to Capuliyoc, a small town. The Choquequirao Trek starts at this place. We will meet the porters, muleteers and cooks who will help us with our belongings and will accompany us for the next four days.

After a delicious Andean breakfast, we will begin a 20-minute ascent along the course of the Apurmac River to a viewpoint where we can admire the landscape of the valley.

We will then begin to descend to Chiquisqa through a trail lined with various crops, most of which are used for medicinal purposes. Our guide will delve into these plants.

Upon arrival in Chisquisqa we will have to enjoy a delicious lunch. Continuing with the tour we will descend to Playa Rosalinas. This place is the limit point between the departments of Apurimac and Cusco.

After crossing the Rosalinas bridge we will go up to the Marampata hill. This hill is located at 3500 meters above sea level. This will be our first camp where we will spend the night.

Day 2Marampata - Choquequirao

We will wake you up with a delicious Peruvian breakfast. We will continue with our walk to the Archaeological Site of Choquequirao.

Upon arrival with our guide we will visit the site who will give you all the information about the site. We will visit the main square, ceremonial centers, agricultural terraces and many more interesting places that it has.

After the tour we will go to have lunch. In the afternoon you will have free time to return to the complex and witness the sunset over Choquequirao.

Finally you will rest in our comfortable tents after a fortifying dinner.

Day 3Choquequirao - Marampata - Santa Rosa - Chiquiska

After a fantastic breakfast, we will continue our return trip with a hike to Chiquiska, where we will camp for the night. On the way we will observe the flight of the Andean condors.

We will continue walking after lunch to the Chiquiska camp, where we will have a pleasant evening and rest.
