Itinerary

Full DayCusco - Pisac

We will pick you up from your accommodation in Cusco in the morning to take you in our private transport through the Sacred Valley of the Incas to the Taray viewpoint so you can observe the impressive view of the sacred valley and the Urubamba River that irrigates this entire Valley.

We will continue our journey to the town of Pisac. Pisac is famous for its astronomical observatory, this beautiful town has a traditional market, where you can see the different crafts made by hand by the locals and an archaeological zone where, together with our local guide, you will tour the entire complex.

After learning more about the history of this place we will take you to the main square. Here you can buy some souvenirs and gifts for your relatives.

After boarding the transport we will go to Urubamba. Here you will enjoy a delicious Peruvian buffet lunch.

Ollantaytambo

Ollantaytambo was a strategic military, religious and agricultural center that still preserves its masonry and its imposing structures over four meters high.

This archaeological zone, located in the province of Urubamba, has preserved its houses, streets and canals from the Tahuantinsuyo era.

It is a place shrouded in mystery and magic. It is thought that it was a change of refuge from reality and from the Inca nobility.

Moray

After visiting the archaeological site of Ollantaytambo we will go to Moray.

Moray is a construction of concentric circular stones forming a kind of rings that widen as they go up. This place was used by the Inca civilization as an agricultural research laboratory, since the best conditions for planting a product were experienced here.

Salt Mines of Maras

Continuing with our tour we will visit Maras, famous for the extraction of salt.

The Maras Salt Mines, whose exploitation dates back to the Inca civilization, are located on the side of a hill, whose saline water spring nourishes the five thousand pools of approximately 5 square meters.

Here our guide will give you more information about the extraction process. This will be explained by our expert guide and some locals involved in the collection.

Chinchero

Finally we will go to our last stop, the beautiful town of Chinchero.

Chinchero is a charming town where the Inca history and culture are still alive among the locals, who stand out for their handmade crafts. Chinchero also has an ancient Inca site dating back to the Inca Empire. It is also home to a beautiful whitewashed colonial church erected by the Spanish conquistadors below the ruins of the imperial palace of the Incas.

After visiting this beautiful town, we will return to the city of Cusco and leave you at your accommodation.
