Machu Picchu is the most important Inca archaeological monument because of its innovative urban planning, beautiful architecture, and superb masonry. The morphology of the mountain’s topography was used in its design, which resulted in an imposing citadel.
Machu Picchu is Peru’s pride and a UNESCO World Heritage Site and World Wonder. It is one of the most biologically diverse regions in the Peruvian Andes, since it is situated on top of a mountain with a surface area of 37,302 hectares.
Because it is separated into an agricultural sector with a great network of platforms and an urban sector with exquisite monuments of enormous and imposing stones placed together, such as the Temple of the Sun, it was a significant location for the Inca empire.
In this 2 Days tour with our guide you will visit the entire citadel, you will discover more about the history and culture of the Inca civilization.
The train trip is a unique experience since you will travel following the course of the Urubamba River, which irrigates the entire Sacred Valley of the Incas. You will also be delighted with Andean farms, grazing animals and all the landscape that this river irrigates.
To do this tour we recommend you spend a few days in Cusco or acclimatize to the high altitude climate to avoid altitude sickness.
