We will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco to take you in our private transport through the Sacred Valley of the Incas to the town of Ollantaytambo where you will board a train to Aguas at the train station.
The train ride down the Urubamba River is a feast for the eyes, with views of Andean fields and rural settlements and the entire landscape that this river irrigates.
Our crew will be ready for you when you arrive in Aguas Calientes to transport you to bus terminal where you will board the bus that will take you to the citadel of Machu Picchu.
Upon reaching the entrance of the citadel, you will go through a control. Here they will verify your passport, so we recommend you bring your original passport.
After passing the control with our guide, you will tour the entire citadel and obtain more information about the culture and history of the Inca civilization.
Following the tour with our guide, you will have opportunity to explore the citadel on your own; we recommend going to the sun gate, which provides a wonderful perspective of this global wonder. Our guide will lead you to the entrance if you have booked a hike to Machu Picchu or Huayna Picchu Mountain.
Following your tour to this natural wonder, you will take the bus back to Aguas Calientes town. You will have free time here to have lunch, explore the town, or rest in one of the town’s warm springs.
Finally, board the train back to the station, where our driver will meet you and transport you back to your hotel in Cusco.
